History

Dekim Ecza A.Ş. was founded in 1980 by entrepreneur Dr.Zühtü Dinçsoy, Pharmacists Tanıl Dinçsoy, Emel Dinçsoy, Dr. Ünal Dündar, Necati Akdemir as well as other partners.

Founded with the aim of distributing pharmaceutical drugs and health equipment to pharmacy sales points in and around Izmir, the company managed to create a certain market share for itself soon after its inception, despite the political and economic difficulties encountered at the time.

Dekim Ecza A.Ş. had set for it the objective of having a say in the Aegean Region and Izmir market within the first 5 years of its inception. In parallel with this aim, the company realised the goal of setting up its own purpose built premises. During the same phase, the Dekim became one of the pioneering firms in the pharmaceuticals distribution sector in the use of computerised systems and IT applications.


Revising its goals and objectives in the 1990s by deciding to extend its services to remoter regions, the company became active in the Çanakkale/Bandırma/Bursa basin in the north (Marmara Region), Muğla/Antalya in the south (Mediterranean Region) and Afyon/Uşak/Isparta/Burdur in the east (Inner Aegean-Inner Anatolian Region).




During the same years Dekim Ecza A.Ş. added to its marketing activities, sale of public enterprises, bodies and hospitals; and large scale contracting initiatives such as public procurement projects and participation in such projects in which it achieved significant success.

In 2000 and beyond, it directed its concentration in the market towards meeting the requirements of public institutions, university and training hospitals, Social Security Organisation and Armed Forces Hospitals and similar bodies and meeting the requirements of public procurement tenders launched by such bodies. Currently, the company participates in the procurement tenders of the aforementioned public bodies throughout Turkey and serves the country’s health chain.


By including medical and medicinal consumables, disinfectant products, contact lenses and solutions as well as chemicals within its product range, the company acts as a one stop supplier for the requirements of both the public and private hospitals and private health institutions.

Dekim Ecza A.Ş. has been serving the Health and Pharmaceuticals industry since 1980. Meeting the pharmaceuticals and medical supplies distribution requirements of public enterprises, university and training hospitals, Armed Forces Hospitals and similar health organisations as well as private health organisations throughout Turkey, Dekim Ecza A.Ş. has been awarded numerous times by the Aegean Region Chamber of Commerce for its principled practices and applications.
